apply / GVI

Start with preparation, then ask for a written cohort confirmation.

Applying to GVI is not a mystery funnel. Read the curriculum, choose a practice track, prepare a short brief of interest, and verify coaching, artifacts, and claims in writing before any payment conversation.

Students prepare

School year, language, weekly time, track interest, one researchable question.

Families verify

Calendar, coaching model, certificate wording, letter policy, integrity rules, commercial terms if any.

Schools brief

Cohort size, staff time, devices, assessment need, parent communication.

Path

A start sequence that respects everyone’s time.

This website does not host a live application form with 2026 dates. The sequence below is how a serious conversation should run.

1. Read

Curriculum, standards, FAQ, and the family or school audience page that matches you.

2. Choose

A practice track and an honest weekly hour block. If you cannot choose, use foundation, not a vague “anything.”

3. Write

A one-page note: who, goal, time, language, question. Students should include a six-sentence research interest.

4. Verify

Ask the checklist below in writing. Do not skip it because the brand feels green and calm.

5. Confirm

Only after a cohort-specific confirmation should anyone talk about payment, if payment exists for that offering.

What to prepare

A student statement: year in school, working language, hours you can protect, whether you prefer consulting, finance, marketing, data, or entrepreneurship questions, and a research interest that could survive three weeks. Attach nothing confidential.

If you are applying as a school, prepare cohort size, year groups, staff name, calendar constraints, and whether you need a graded project or enrichment. If you are a partner, prepare what you are actually contributing: time, a brief, or a venue.

What families should verify

  • Is this cohort a structured virtual internship pathway, a short workshop, or a school simulation — in those words?
  • What are the five modules’ deadlines on this calendar?
  • Who is the assigned coach, and are the two coaching calls scheduled?
  • What artifacts will the student keep, and who marks them?
  • What will the certificate say, and under what condition is it withheld?
  • When, if ever, is a recommendation letter written — and by whom?
  • How is copied or generated work handled?
  • What is the LinkedIn/CV wording for this cohort?
  • What commercial terms apply, if any — in a document, not a chat?
  • Is anyone using the 2021 “3,000+ organizations” line as if it were this year’s employer list?

What this apply page will not do

It will not publish a price, a 2026 start date, or a fake “seats remaining” counter. Those patterns pressure families. GVI’s public standard is the opposite: slow down until the work is visible.

After you send the note

A serious reply restates the spine and answers the verification questions. If the reply is only inspiration, ask again or walk away. Contact is the channel; this page is the briefing.

Example notes that get a useful reply

Student: “I am in the last two years of secondary school, can protect six independent hours a week, prefer English, and want the data track. I would research whether a public attendance table supports changing an event price. I have read curriculum and standards. I need the coaching model and certificate wording in writing.” That note can be answered.

School: “We have twenty students, one counselor at 0.2 time, laptops in the library, and a term that cannot overlap finals. We want one track, a presentation, and parent language that does not claim employment. We can pilot.” That note can be answered. A note that only says “interested in your global 500 program” cannot, because this website will not confirm that frame.
