Inquiry data
Name, contact, school year, and the question — enough to reply.
legal / GVI
This policy page states GVI’s privacy posture for a public information site and for future program inquiries. It is not a substitute for counsel-reviewed terms at enrollment.
Name, contact, school year, and the question — enough to reply.
Program-related communication only.
Formal student records require a reviewed policy for that cohort.
gvi.cc is a static public site. It does not need student identity to be read. Server logs on a host may include ordinary technical data such as IP addresses and user agents. This page cannot see those logs from the HTML files themselves.
If a contact form or third-party tool is added later, the tool’s own policy must be linked and this page updated. Until then, treat email or message inquiries as correspondence, not as a marketing database.
Send only what is needed: who you are in role terms (student, parent, counselor, partner), how to reply, and the educational question. Do not send passport scans, payment credentials, or health records in a first message.
A running virtual internship may need names, school, working language, submission files, and coach comments. It should not need extra identity documents without a lawful reason. Access to student work should be limited to people who review or administer that cohort.
Files in a portfolio belong to the student in the sense described on the terms page, subject to any separate agreement. Mentors should not republish student work as their case study without permission.
High-school programs should include a parent or school adult in administrative communication. Mentors should not move students onto unsupervised private apps as the only channel.
If you believe GVI holds inquiry information you want corrected or deleted, use the contact page and say so plainly. A public static site may hold nothing; a mailbox might. This page should be reviewed by counsel before paid enrollment or systematic student-data collection.
dateModified on this page is 2026-09-09. Material changes to collection practices should be written here before they go live, not after a tool is quietly embedded.
Inquiry mail should not live forever in a shared inbox without a reason. Cohort files should be accessible to reviewers and administrators of that cohort, not to a general marketing list. Students should be able to take their portfolio with them. Mentors should not keep private copies of student work as personal case studies without permission.
If a third-party classroom tool is used, families should see its name and policy before student accounts are created. This static site cannot list a 2026 vendor stack it does not have. A cohort document can.

Each page covers a different part of the remote internship pathway so families can compare structure, work, and evidence.
