trust / GVI

People are trusted through standards, not through unnamed prestige.

This page does not invent a 2026 staff grid. It explains how GVI expects mentors, coordinators, and reviewers to behave when they work with students.

Mentor clarity

Role, availability, and review scope confirmed before a cohort launches.

Student support

Expectations, channels, and escalation — written.

Evidence integrity

Certificates and letters describe work that was actually reviewed.

Why there are no mentor headshots here

Named mentors change by cohort. Publishing decorative names would violate the same honesty rule as a fake logo wall. When a cohort has a coach, that coach should be introduced in the cohort pack with a way to verify the relationship.

The 2021 brochure described professional coaches and, in example tracks, practitioner backgrounds. Those examples are historical program notes, not a current roster on gvi.cc.

Roles that should exist in a running program

A coordinator who owns the calendar and submission points. An internship coach who reviews files and holds the two-call model described in the brochure. Optional specialist webinar hosts. A school adult if the cohort is institutional. A person who can pause a certificate if integrity fails.

Mentor standards

Prepare by reading the brief. Comment on evidence and logic first. Do not ghostwrite. Do not request unnecessary personal data. Do not imply employment. Show up for the scarce calls. Write recommendations only about work you saw. The mentors audience page and standards page repeat this because it is the product.

Student-facing support

Students need one channel for logistics and one for work comments. They need to know how to say they are stuck. They need to know what happens if a coach is ill. Support that exists only as a slogan will surface in week three.

Who is allowed to speak for GVI

Public pages on gvi.cc are conservative on purpose. Anyone representing GVI to families should match these pages on modules, artifacts, and the 2021-brochure treatment of the organization network. If they cannot, they are not speaking for this site.

Conduct we expect from anyone using the GVI name

Match public pages on modules, artifacts, and caveats. Do not sell a live partner roster this site will not publish. Do not promise letters. Do not request extra identity documents in a first chat. Do not move minors to unsupervised apps. Do not ghostwrite. If you cannot work under those rules, you should not represent GVI.

When a cohort has named people, introduce them in the cohort pack with a verification path. Headshots on a marketing page without that path are decoration. This team page prefers standards to decoration.
